Funeral services for Curtis Alvin Broadway, 74, of Robeline, LA, will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Rocky Mount Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Moran and Rev. Chris Birdwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Mount Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at 5:00 PM at Rocky Mount Congregational Methodist Church, Robeline, LA.

Curtis Alvin Broadway was born on Thursday, June 28, 1945 in Robeline, LA. He passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Willis Knighton North in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Broadway and Mertie (Sims) Broadway; wife, Barbara Broadway; son, Calvin Broadway; daughter, Peggy Broadway; one brother and five sisters.

He is survived by his wife. Nancy Broadway of Robeline, LA; daughter, Angela Broadway of Bossier City, LA; sons: Chris Posey and wife Melba of Cloutierville, LA, Stacey Posey and Gwen of Robeline, LA and Jonathan Posey and wife Emily of Many, LA; sisters, Barbara Jordan of Robeline, LA and Linda Cobb of Robeline, LA; brothers: Peter Calvin Broadway, Jr. of Robeline, LA, James Broadway of Robeline, LA and Jerry Broadway of Natchitoches, LA; grandchildren: Crystal Lodrigue (Shane), Racheal Broadway, April Singletary (Colton), David Dwayne Lovell, II (Katie), Ember O’Bannon (Shane), Curtis Fred Graves, John Ross Posey, Renley Posey, Tessa Meshell, Tim Tucker, Brady Meshell and A. J. Meshell; sixteen great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers: Darren Cobb, Aaron Procell, Chris Lewis, Eddie Wayne Chriss, Jonathan Lewis, Jr Benard, Kenny Vierdag and Ricky Hartman.
