Law enforcement from both state and local agencies issued a search warrant at a local used car dealership on Monday morning.

According to KJAS.com, Jasper Police and Department of Public Safety Troopers arrived at Big Country Auto Sales on Highway 190 at shortly before 11 a.m. 

Jasper Police Lieutenant Garrett Foster told KJAS that there were executing an evidentiary search warrant. No arrest were made, and the warrant was to gather materials as part of an investigation.

According to a release the focus of the investigation was documents sent to state and local tax offices pertaining to the registration, and sales tax on vehicles sold at the business.
