Sabine County, Texas-

A Sabine County man appeared before Judge Craig Mixon in 1st Judicial District Court on June 10, after a judgement for adjudication of guilt was issued.

Robert Curtis Parrish, Jr. was sentenced to serve seven-years confinement in TDCJID. Parrish was originally charged with second degree felony sexual assault of a child offense back in October 2014, and sentenced to seven-years deferred probation.

According to court documents, the court previously deferred adjudication of guilt in this case. Subsequently, the State filed a motion to adjudicate guilt, and a hearing was called. Originally back in March 2014, the court found that Parrish did qualify for deferred adjudication community supervision for a period of seven years, which was deferred and no findings of guilt and rendered no judgement in the case. The court revoked supervision on June 10, 2019, after finding the defendant violated the conditions of community supervision.
