Hemphill City Council approved the resignation of City Manager Laure Morgan during a special session on Tuesday, July 7. Council thanked Morgan for her 26-years of service to the city, and wished her success in her future endeavors. Morgan will be leaving her duties in Hemphill to take the position of City Secretary for the City of Brownsville. Her last day is July 31.
