Independence Day Celebration at Sandy Creek Park

Due to the Covid 19 spreading in the East Texas area, Governor Abbott has put a lock-down on outside activities.

I have decided along with Jasper's City Mayor Gary Gatlin, and Fire Chief Jimmy Primrose that we want be able to have the activities or food vendors at the park.

The fireworks show will go on at 9:30 pm. Marvin Hancock Drive will shut down at 9:00 pm and people that want to park at Sandy Creek Park will have to be in place by 9:00 pm and stay in their cars, which will also apply to Dr. Sighn and Thera-Specialist parking lots. The show is so big that you will be able to see the show too from Lowe's and Walmart parking lots and of course on the hill at Jasper Middle School.

Everyone will be able to tune into KJAS 107.3 FM to hear the music that will be syncronized to the fireworks show at 9:30 pm.
