San Augustine County Judge Jeff Boyd announced the first confirmed positive case of COVID-19. According to the release the Angelina County & Cities Health (COVID-19) confirmed a San Augustine County resident was positive. 

As with anyone exposed to a positive COVID-19 case the Angelina County Health District is advising those directly exposed to self-quarantine and monitor themselves for flu-like symptoms as recommended by the CDC.

Please contact the San Augustine Call Center at 936-630-8500 if you need information or are experiencing flu-like symptoms. The Texas Department of State Health Services assigns case counts to the County of residence.
