New East Texas Country Artist Randy C Moore Releases “Lufkin” Album
Randy will be performing Saturday Jan 23 at the Lost Frontier in Hemphill.
Lufkin, TX- Award Winning Singer/Songwriter Randy C Moore releases his new album, “Lufkin” January 5, 2021 on Highway 59 Records ™. “Lufkin” is produced by Moore with Norbert Putman, as executive in charge of production.
On the 10-song album, Moore collaborates with hit-makers Jessie Hunter (BMG Records), and David Lee, along with penning the other eight songs himself. Top tracks from the album include “Big in Texas”, “Daddy, I Wanna Go Fishin”, “Devil For Hire”, “ I Sold A Lot Of Beer” and “Woman, Woman”.
Lufkin is a 10 song Texas Country Americana album that takes listeners on a journey from Nashville back home to Texas, the place where Randy was raised and lives again. With songs about, fishing, love, dogs, and life, Lufkin is a tapestry of thought and emotion, heart and soul. Randy is accompanied by Nashville studio session pros Greg Morrow on drums, Troy Klontz on pedal-steel guitar, and Norbert Putnam on bass.
Randy C Moore a native of Humble, Texas, who now makes his home in Angelina County, began his career in Houston. At the age of 15 he began recording and playing many popular Houston area nightspots with the help of KNUZ radio personality, Arch Yancey.
He made his way to Nashville sometime later and was featured as a guest artist on WSM’s Grand Ole Opry and The Nashville Network. Today, Randy Moore travels the world stage from Monaco to Shanghai, China, performing his music for a diverse audience of music fans.
His recording career has led him to collaborate with rockabilly great Carl Perkins, Randy Owen of Alabama, and legendary record producer, Norbert Putnam. Randy will be performing Saturday Jan 23 at the Lost Frontier in Hemphill.
