As the holiday season approaches again, Sabine County Children's Service Board invites you to participate in the 2019 Empty Stocking Program. It is sponsored by the Sabine County children's service Board, in 2018 we had request from 97 families with a total of 291 children. The amount spent on the empty Stocking Program was $16,811.32.
This outstanding community effort provides gifts of toys, clothing, and candy for children in Sabine County who might otherwise have an "empty stocking" on Christmas morning. For some children, these are the only gifts they will receive.
Anyone who can contribute to this valuable cause, which is coordinated during the first week of December and would considerably assist our "shopping and preparation staff: in the difficult task of distribution throughout the county.
Donation may be mailed to Empty Stocking Program, P.O. Box 3, Hemphill, Tx 75948.
As in the past the Empty Stocking Program expresses appreciation for the caring and unselfish attitude so evident in Sabine County. "It is our wish that your family enjoys a special Holiday Season and prosperity throughout the coming year."
Donor names are published in local news or may remain anonymous, please specify which you prefer. Contributions are tax deductible.
