Hemphill VFD, Pendleton Harbor VFD, Hemphill Police Department, and Sabine County EMS responded to the the report of a house fire on Italy Road in Hemphill at approximately 5 p.m. this afternoon. No injuries were reported. The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and was heavily damaged.
